Glide
Beyond
Glass.
A 4 mm slab of micro-etched tempered glass on a full silicone base. Nothing to fray, nothing to soak in, nothing to wear through — so the surface you unbox is the surface you still have three years from now.
A cloth pad breaks in, then breaks down. Glass has nothing to lose.
On cloth, glide comes from the weave — so it changes as the fibers flatten. On glass, glide comes from the material itself. That difference is the whole product.
Speed, without the slip
The etch is fine enough to let the mouse run and coarse enough that the sensor reads every inch. Fast on the move, planted on the stop.
Nothing to wear out
No fibers to flatten, no coating to rub through, no break-in period. Day one and day one thousand feel the same under the mouse.
One wipe, done
Sweat, skin oil and desk dust sit on top instead of soaking in. A dry microfiber pass resets it — no washing, no drying overnight.
Stays where you put it
A full silicone backing grips the entire footprint, not four corners. Hard flicks don't walk the pad across your desk mid-round.
The same glide, three years apart.
| VEXQUIN glass | Cloth pad | |
|---|---|---|
| Glide, month one vs month thirty | Identical | Breaks in, then slows down |
| Surface wear | Nothing to wear — the surface is the material | Fibers flatten, edges fray |
| Cleaning | Dry microfiber, thirty seconds | Wash, dry overnight, never quite the same |
| Dust, sweat & skin oil | Stays on the surface, wipes off | Soaks in for good |
| Desk grip | Full silicone base, zero creep | Slides on hard flicks |
| Feel after an hour | Cool and consistent | Warms up, gets tacky |

Reasonable questions, straight answers.
Will it work with my mouse?
Yes. The surface is compatible with optical and laser sensors, including high-DPI gaming mice, and needs no special mouse feet. If this is your first hard pad, give yourself a few days — glass feels faster than cloth at first, and most players settle in within a week.
Will it wear out my mouse skates?
Hard surfaces are less forgiving on PTFE feet than cloth is, so skates can wear faster than they would on a soft pad. The trade-off is that the pad itself doesn't change: you replace a set of feet now and then instead of replacing the whole surface.
Does it feel cold?
Glass sits at room temperature, so it feels cooler than cloth on first touch. Most people stop noticing within one session — and unlike cloth, it never warms up and turns tacky under your wrist.
Will it scratch?
Everyday use won't mark it. Sharp objects and abrasive or acidic cleaners are the real risks, so keep metal tools off the surface, wipe with microfiber, and skip gritty sprays.
How much desk space does 450 × 400 mm take?
It covers the footprint of a full-size desk mat: room for a keyboard plus a wide mouse swing. Measure your desk depth before ordering — at 400 mm deep it needs a standard or deeper desk to sit comfortably.
How do I clean it?
A dry microfiber cloth handles dust and fingerprints. For anything stubborn, a lightly damp cloth with water is enough — then let it air dry. No alcohol, no ammonia, no abrasive pads.
Where can I buy it, and how do returns work?
Sales run through Amazon, so shipping, tracking and returns are all handled there under Amazon's return policy. The store link is in the footer below.
